Global Greengrants Fund

Global Green Grants bridges the gap between those who can offer financial support and grassroots groups in developing countries that can make effective use of that support. They help donors overcome the barriers to grassroots grantmaking by identifying worthy organizations and moving funds at minimal cost.

Global Green Grants are based in Boulder , Colorado , with staff and volunteers around the world. Grants are made (typically $500 to $5,000) to grassroots groups in some of the world's most despoiled and impoverished places where other sources of support often are not available. Since their first grant in 1993, Greengrants has made more than 3500 grants to groups in over 120 countries.
