La Sangthong

La Sangthong works at the Highlanders Association in Ratanakiri Province . He is responsible for building the capacity of field staff and local environmental, women's, and youth groups on land and forestry law, indigenous peoples' rights and natural resource management. He works closely with communities along the Se San River that have been affected by the Yali Falls dam in Vietnam . Thong speaks Lao, Cambodian, Thai, English, Tampuen and Kreng.

Kunthea

Kunthea has worked as a project officer with the Fisheries Action Coalition Team ( FACT ), a Cambodian NGO that focuses on advocacy around fisheries and environmental issues in the Tonle Sap Lake area. He has recently begun studying for his Masters degree in Bangkok.

Meach Mean

Meach Mean has worked with the 3S Rivers Protection Network in Ratanakiri Province for seven years, conducting community-based research on the impacts of hydropower projects on the Sesan, Srepok, and Sekong rivers, monitoring the effects of dams on fish and plant life, and working to address health, water quality, and relocation issues.  After graduation from the Mekong School, Mean was promoted to be Coordinator of his organization.  Mean speaks Lao, Tampuen, Kavet, Krueng, Brao, Jarai, Cambodian, English, Thai, and Vietnamese.
